Okay, I'm thankful for and like all my clients, but I can't help that a few clients become my favorites. The Thompson's are one of my favorite clients. I've photographed their full family or family members on separate occasions so many times now that I've lost count (it's at least seven times). This is Emily Thompson and her fiance, Alex Thorson. I photographed their engagement portraits at a stable in Rockwall.
Jennifer Trevino and Greg Scogin were married earlier this month at Reflections on Spring Creek in Plano.
Jim & LaRue Hunter are celebrating their 50th anniversary soon, and came in to the studio for portraits. They are the parents of Kelly Shockley - one of my great referrers (I've photographed both her children's senior portraits).

Heather is a senior at Naaman Forest, and she's involved in just about every school activity there is. Her senior portraits were at the studio and Lakeside Park.
Randi's senior portrait session was at Lakeside Park in Highland Park. I had also previously photographed her sister's senior portraits and wedding.
Bailey is on the soccer team of Sachse High School. She also brought her Firebird and her prom dress (she had already found and bought hers) to the studio.
Jonathan's senior portraits were created at one of my favorite locations near the old studio - Firewheel Golf Course. On the last image, I was telling Jonathan a pose I would never ask a guy to do, and of course, he said he had to do it.

Jessica Manteuffel and Chad Quinlan have family in Indiana and Texas, so they decided to be married at a midway point - and decided on Kansas City. Jessica also has a Monsignor in the family serving at a church in KC!
In the summer of 2000, I was looking for a space to open my first studio and having trouble finding a spot I liked. In the meantime, I worked part-time for Greenscape Pump Services, designing their website and organizing their photo library. They're an amazing business that designs and constructs water fountains all over Texas and beyond. I finally found a studio spot in Garland in the late fall of that year, but since then I've photographed their new projects each year. They're pretty much the only clients I serve that I do something other than photographing people. Here are some of the fountains this year - I finished the digital files this weekend. The sites are in Frisco, Southlake, Plano, Dallas, and as far away as Biloxi and Houston.
Each month I enter the print competition in the Dallas PPA. It's a way of pushing myself to produce better and better work. This is this month's entry - a Designer Folio of (2) 10x10 pages that face each other in a folio. It is from Lauren Land's senior session.

We're creating an coffee table album for Christmas from the portrait session of Mia Mor Barraza at the Dallas Arboretum. The Barraza's are currently my farthest distance clients - they live in El Paso! Here are a few pages from the album:
This is the fifth (perhaps sixth?) year that the Glantons have asked me to do their Christmas cards. It's a joy each time. Here is this year's design - front, inside spread (it folds in the middle), and back. They are designed as 5x7 vertical folding cards. The boys have been very into swimming lately, so we used that as the theme this year.
The wedding of Jillian Hotchkiss and Jake Howell was at Zion Lutheran in Dallas and at the Southfork Hotel in Plano.
Matthew Hill's a creative guy, involved in both the visual arts and his church choir. We did his senior portrait session at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, where he and his family have been members since its start in the 1980's. The church has seen tremendous growth since then.
