Matthew is at the beginning stage of a career in acting, and needs headshots. He's already a natural in front of the camera:
His session was also my first with my new Nikon D3. I tend to get excited about equipment, but I'm extra excited about this camera. I believe it's a truly revolutionary leap forward in digital technology - and it's going to allow me to do things I've wanted to do for years - namely, shoot without flash for significant portions of wedding receptions at night and shoot portraits without relying on my tripod.
I've been more sporadic on my posts lately than I'd wish. There are two reasons - one, this is a normally slower time of year for me, and two, I've been working round-the-clock to prepare for the upcoming spring rush (installing a new computer at the studio, preparing marketing, looking into new avenues of internet tech, figuring out my D3, etc.).
But, I will be posting a bunch of new work the next two weeks. In order, my client work will be - Burk, Briseno, Gonzalez, Tucker, Leal, Otway, Masterson, Rodgers, Donahoe, and Dugan. Somewhere in there I'll also post some stuff about my marketing and I'll also post this year's print competition work (the event is in two weeks).
